Kristin Kostamo McNeil

Kristin Kostamo McNeil began her journey at Michigan State University, originally pursuing a degree in business with plans to enter the advertising world. But something didn’t quite click—until a conversation with a friend studying interior design sparked a new direction. Kristin quickly realized she’d found her true passion. She changed course, earned her spot in the competitive design program, and never looked back.

After graduating and gaining a decade of hands-on industry experience, Kristin launched Anne Rae Design in 2012. Her vision was simple yet powerful: to build a firm grounded in creativity, collaboration, and seamless project management. Over the years, she’s honed an approach that’s both design-driven and client-focused—delivering interiors that are thoughtful, functional, and deeply personal.

Known for her meticulous attention to detail and unwavering dedication to her clients, Kristin is deeply involved in every phase of a project—from the first idea to the final install. Her goal is always the same: to create spaces that exceed expectations and feel effortlessly aligned with her clients’ lives.

After 15 years in San Diego, where she founded Anne Rae Design, Kristin has returned to the Lakeshore of West Michigan. While now based in Michigan, she frequently travels back to Southern California to oversee projects and connect with clients. Outside of work, Kristin enjoys spending time with her husband Patrick and their adventurous sons, Oliver and Bennett. The family embraces summers on the lake and winters on the ski slopes, making the most of time with loved ones and friends.

Ivan Segovia-Jimenez

Born and raised in Madrid, Ivan Segovia-Jimenez’s passion for architecture and design began at an early age, inspired by the rich history and breathtaking landscapes of his hometown. After moving to the United States at age eleven, his love for design deepened as he explored the dynamic architecture of the East Coast—from towering skyscrapers to charming Southern homes.

Determined to turn his passion into a career, Ivan earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from the Design Institute of San Diego. He gained valuable experience across various design roles before finding his place at Anne Rae Design, where he has been a key team member for nearly three years.

Ivan brings a sharp eye for creativity, technical precision, and genuine enthusiasm to every project. He draws inspiration from all kinds of sources—from the elegance of a well-tailored suit to the serenity of a day at the beach—and is dedicated to creating spaces where meaningful moments unfold. Ivan takes great pride in seeing ideas come to life as completed interiors that clients are excited to call home.

Based full-time in San Diego, Ivan enjoys spending time outdoors, playing softball, and caring for his energetic pup, River.
